When you look at our label, there may be some ingredients that might make you wonder how we could claim that this is an all natural product...we get it, there are some ingredient names that have to be awful chemicals, right?! Wrong! Below is a listing of our ingredients, their source and their use so you can feel confident in using All Natural Cleaner in your home.
Aqua: Water. We use distilled water.
d-Limonene: A clear thin liquid with a pleasant citrus scent, it is steam distilled from citrus rinds. This oil is a very versatile ingredient, being safer to use and more effective than many commercial and industrial cleaners. This ingredient is so safe that you'll find it in many food products, including fruit juices, soft drinks, baked goods, ice cream, and pudding.
Cocoamidopropyl Betaine: A surfactant (cleans and produces foam) naturally derived from the coconut. It is completely biodegradable.
Coco Glucoside: A surfactant derived from renewable raw materials such as coconut oil and corn and fruit sugars. It is completely biodegradable.
Polysorbate 20: Polysorbate 20 is naturally derived from Lauric Acid (Coconut Oil) and is a commonly used emulsifiers of essential oils and oil soluble fragrances. Basically, it helps oil based ingredients blend evenly within our water based cleaner.
Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside: A surfactant obtained from renewable raw materials: fatty alcohols and glucose from vegetable origin. Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside is a glucose alkyl ether containing 60% active matter that is ECOCERT Certified, preservative free and free of impurities. This ultra-gentle, natural, cleansing, solubilizing foaming agent adds a luxurious "green" element to our formula.
Grapefruit Seed Extract and Glycerin: Grapefruit Seed Extract is primarily derived from the seeds and membranes of the grapefruit. It is used primarily as an antioxidant and natural preservative and is delivered in a vegetable glycerin base.
Potassium Sorbate: A food grade preservative derived from Mountain Ash Sorbus species.
Citric Acid and Silver Citrate: Sold under the brand name Tinosan SDC, this ingredient provides a broad spectrum antimicrobial activity and is effective against unwanted skin bacteria and pathogenic micro organisms. Multi-functional, this ingredient also kills odour causing bacteria. It is a stabilized silver complex produced by a unique electrochemical process with silver and citric acid.
Melaleuca Alternifolia Oil: Also known as Tea Tree Oil, this is a steam-distilled essential oil sourced from the Tea Tree in Australia. It is reputed for it's ability to fight all three types of infectious organisms (bacteria, fungi, and viruses).
We include steam-distilled Lavender, Sweet Orange and Peppermint essential oils to add a lovely and natural scent to your cleaning!
